Will This 732 Make It?

Sun Mar 19, 2006 7:41 am

Hi everyone!
I'm a newbie here. What do you guys think about this one. Is the lighting really that bad? Should I pull it out? Thanks for your comments in advance.

There are some jaggies on the tail/fuselodge at the back of the plane.

Lighten up while you still can, don't even try to understand, just find a place to make your stand and take it easy

Yes, there is a slotted wall behind the aircraft to disperse the engine blast. That part of the fuselage looks kind of jaggy, but it's not from sharpening. I'm not really sure what to do about it. Should I blur that somehow?

You are right about the lighting being bad. The aircraft is backlit, meaning that the sunlight is falling on the far side, not on the side you are shooting.

Look at the angle of the shadows.

Backlit shots do not generally get accepted here.

Hi Oleg,

Sorry to say but it probably won't make it, as it's backlit. As a result of that, the nose is also blown out. For regular shots, try going for the sunny side...

Good luck,
Giovanni
