Ok For Uploading?

Sun Mar 19, 2006 8:46 am

On my current trip to Puerto Rico I have taken a lot of photos at SJU and I also took some photos at JFK waiting for my flight.

I edited the photos in photoshop and made them all with a width of 1600. Ther e are probably some bad motiv shots.

Please take a look and let me know what you think!

I can't figure out how to post the photos in there real size, I guess the only way is to upload them and view the real size that way.

Without seeing the full size images it is very difficult to offer opinions but one thing I would strongly recommend is that you do NOT upload at 1600 px wide. Go for a smaller size - 1024 or 1200 - and this will improve quality and greatly improve your chances of acceptance.

From the small size images you have posted it is not possible to say much about the quality of most of the shots but the lighting kills the Virgin 747 nose shot and I think the crop on the SIA 747 nose will get bad motive. This is also a risk with the US Air 767 that shows only about half the fuselage. I'd also recommend a closer crop on the shot showing the complete US 767. The others stand a reasonable chance IF the quality is good enough.

Hope this is of some help - good luck !

One thorn of experience is worth a whole wilderness of warning.

The shots from the gate will definitely not make the cut. Bad cropping / color / contrast/ backlight I'm afraid.

The other ones do not look bad, but some are unlevel and need closer cropping. Cant say anything about sharpness and quality because of the small size...

This shot is interesting.

However in my opinion you have too much sky over the 'Bus and the tires on the other plane are cut-off. Did you crop it this way? If you did than lower your frame otherwise I guess NOA_Motive.

Though without seeing fullsize images there can be problems that we just can't see here.

Looks like a border, will get rejected for badborder. Need to edit again.
