<Scratches Head> Rejection Help...

Tue Mar 21, 2006 12:50 am

Hey guys,

Just had these 2 in rejection emails this morning.

Quality...
http://www.airliners.net/addphotos/r...ns/big/20060320_N413SWTUL31306.jpg

This is the second time that I have gotten this livery rejected for quality, different days. Please don't tell me its jagged either. If that was the case...it would have said that in the email. This livery and I just don't get along I guess.

Angle/Jagged on this one...

As far as I can tell I gridded the rear hangars correctly. Look at the left side. Maybe I am going blind. And the jagged. Cheatlines on private aircraft are always a b*tch. I am guessing its the front part???

Thanks,
Danny

I don't think that your first shot is too jagged to get accepted. Just slightly an issue under the cockpit windows, but if that's the only thing I'd think it is a bit harsh.

Couldn't see any other obvious things neither but I am just having a very quick look.

I don't really like the framing though. the nose is very close to the border, and you have cropped the stabiliser. That is not necessarily a rejection reason, but perhaps that may have played a role in taking the decision?

For the second one, the jaggies are slightly worse there. No idea on the angle issue though...

Keep  Smile - I had 3 rejections yesterday for 1 accepted...

Hi Danny,

I feel this image might look slightly leaning to left-hand side. Maybe screener suggested a little bit CW rotation.

Hey Danny,
I would say both rejections are very fixable, but they do have some problems.
1. It is jagged in the cheatlines below the flight deck, but it seems soft to me in the titles and especially the reg. but that might be from jet blast.
2. Just eyeballing it makes me feel like it needs CW rotation. Also, to help the front cheatlines, don't sharpen them at all. I got this accepted after a jagged rejection with a note about the nose. I masked off the cheatlines in the nose and tail and inverted the selection to not sharpen the area at all, and it got accepted the next try.
