Help With Photo Please.

Fri Mar 24, 2006 10:41 am

I recently got this one rejected for grainy? How much grain does it take to class it as too grainy. Opinions please.

(De-icing! The hot fluid hitting the frozen wing breaking up the caked on ice from the overnight freezing rain.)

The problem is as much with digital noise as it is with the grain, but when you take a (somewhat) noisey image and sharpen it the artifacts start to look like grain...

Looking at it here I think that I could fix that issue. If you want me to have a crack at it, let me know, or if you want some help let me know also. Great shot there.

A lovely shot .
I agree with Royal i see his point.
I also see some jaggies on the cheatlines .
A very fixable shot and one that deserves to be in the DB.
Good luck with it.
Cheers

What do you mean by the word "artifacts"?

Royal,
Will the use of CS2 help this photo?
I'm about to load it.
