The photo shows a photo that does not exist. This could mean that you got lazy and decided not to upload anything, or that you decided to send something but then forgot to send it, then forgot that you forgot to send anything. In any case, there appears to be no photo here.  Wink

I'm sorry, but to me, there is nothing worse than a "smart-ass" reply to an honest question. I did not realize that Comedy Central was having open auditions.

I also did not realize that after I appealed the shots, they would no longer be able to be linked to. So here are the two shots................hosted by another site.........

First, Eric was just attempting some light hearted humor. I thought it was funny. Second, the photos are really backlit, the sky is blown out, and all the levels look whacked. It would have been a sweet shot from the other side of the aircraft. I don't know if these can be saved, we'd have to see the originals.

So, how do you change the backlevels?

There was no way to get on the other side of the runway, it was active.......

These are GREAT shots and if I can work on them in PS2 to meet the strict, severe, almost impossible guidelines of this site, I'd like to upload them.....

try bringing down the lighter section of the RGB curve.

Hi Jay,
That was some pic opportunity at DAL. Adding to the backlight possibility, I do see some softness and a little blur  Sad

I did try to edit a bit...

I heard Tim went and shot from Bachman Lake and got a good exposure. Did you try to get any taxing/closeup shots?

Sorry but you need to chill out a bit. That was very creative and alot of thought went into that!! Top points to DLKAPA!!!

But to the subject at hand, they are backlit, which is a problem. The shots are quite good actually, but the backlit problem will not help them nor will the softness.

Keep up the work.

I'm having somebody help me with the backlit problem.

No, I didn't take any taxiing shots of the 747. We were already positioned
at the end of the runway. It was a crap shoot more or less, you either
got the view I have with the rotation right in front of you, or you could have gone with Tim and shot as the bird got higher into the sky with no backlighting whatsoever. We just weren't able to get on the other side of this runway as it is an active taxiiway.
