Hi Robin,

I find it a bit high in the frame.

Yes I think so (too high in frame)

I'd also crop the starboard engine and tailplane a little bit more to make the picture more symmetrical and avoid cutting only a tiny bit of these.

I find it too high too and really dislike that pole at the bottom as well.
A much tighter crop would have the effect Peter is talking about as well as getting rid of the pole.

Hi Robin.

Though I think you will be able to find many examples of planes centred vertically in this way, I would argue that it is too high in the frame.

I have made my argument a few times before, so I won't bore people again. But for me all that space below the plane is redundant. Much better to see more of the tail (preferably all of it in my opinion), with less excess unfilled space below.

I also agree with Peter that the crop to the left and right is very tight. I would suggest slightly more 'breathing space' either side of the engine nacelles.

All the best.

That would be best, but my assumption was that that is not possible and in that case, I'd cut a bit more off the starboard engine and tailplane.

Well, I'd try what that looked like.

My thoughts exactly. More space on the left and right and a bit lower in the frame, preferably showing the whole tail.

Hi Robin,

Interesting seeing an A.net regular coming to the forums for some feedback. I welcome posts like this if you're planning a change in your style/crop....

Would have liked to have seen the shot to give you my opinion as well.

Speaking of opinions Glenn I'm still waiting for the reply from your request when i met you at the beach last week.?
Warning this is only meant to make Glenn aware that i sent the email not trying to make him answer quick .
Just to make things clear i asked Glenn on some advice regarding my editing techniques because I'm seeing a lot of jaggies.
He offered to have a look at an image that i see a lot of jaggies with .
Cheers
