Rejected For Motiv

Sun Apr 23, 2006 5:19 am

Guys

I am trying hard to get more then 4 photo's uploaded on A.Net ... not so much luck, but not giving up.

The next shot to me seemed a good option for getting uploaded.

I like this shot, and I think the motive was okay with it, but maybe not anet stuff, I don't know.

Maybe the motive has something to do with the angle used and the crop of the plane. If you could have shown more of the first plane (Nice Fokker but) instead of cropping the left wing out.

Cheers

That won't work Mause.
The position of the sun is not optimal, to much clutter and I see a big dust spot right from the near light post.
Nice Fokker's though.

Hi Mause,

Quoting Aviopic (Reply 2):
much clutter

I agree with Willem, and also find another dust spot right above the tail of plane, about 1 cm below the upper border of this image. Still a nice shot!

Quoting Singel09 (Thread starter):

Well good to make mistakes early in the piece.

I would reject:

* Motiv
* Centre
* Possibly even angle

Try first with simple easy shots. Also try reducing the resolution to max 1200 width. The higher the resolution, the greater the chance that flaws in the shot will show. I recommend a resolution of 1024x663 or 1200x800 (for DSLR/35mm 3:2 ratio).
