Sorry Roger, heat haze is a photographer's enemy. It's impossible to recover such a shot when nature is fighting against you. When heat haze hits, probably best to switch from taking the shot to viewing and enjoying the incredible winged beasts with your own eyes.... be sure to wear sunscreen and a hat at the same time
