If I could shoot anything, it would probably be leftwingers and flipfloppers but seeing as this is an aviation discussion and not a political one, I would have to say Air Force 1 on a sunny day somewhere on the otherside of the pond, dont mind where as long as it was sunny

Moscow when the iron curtain was in full force. All those old IL's & TU's would just be so cool. And Aeroflot was the king of airlines (size wise anyway !!!)

An F14, in flight, shooting off a sidewinder missile, just leaving the missile rail with the rising sun in the background.

Tim

There will be an abundance of space photos when good ole Branson gets his orbiter project running. I'm sure he'll organise space walks in the near future.

A remote camera on a B-2 wing during sunset above Grand Canyon would be pretty neat I think.  Wink

I'd like to photograph the 2nd Antonov An-225 Mriya taking off from Keflavik airport in sunlight (in the direction I'm shooting) with Canon EOS 1Ds Mark II and Canon EF 500mm f/4L IS USM lens.

If time travel were possible:

1) I would go back in time to my local airport (FWA), during pre-deregulation and pre-RJ/turboprop days, as I remember it from my childhood, and photograph the 727s, 737s, DC-9s, and MD-80/90s of DL, NW, UA, PI, and the other mainline airlines that regularly served FWA before it went all-regional. Then, I would submit all my "time-travelled" FWA photos, of course appropriately dated, to Airliners.net! Would they accept them?

2) I would also go back in time to my earliest flying trips (1993 IND-IAH-HRL return; 1994 IND-JFK-MAD return; 1995 FWA-ORD-BOS return; etc) and photograph the CO 727, TWA 747, the AA 767, and other interesting planes I took on those milestone trips, inside and out, and submit those photos from the past to A.net.

Would A.net accept photos taken from time-travel planespotting expeditions?
I would be using the camera I have now--my Fuji Finepix S5600.

Would you need a high ISO and what about zero gravity?
