Can you please tell me where this image is soft and why was it rejected for category.

The category was 'NOSE'

Try adding a little USM; it doesn't look to me like you'd do any "damage" in doing so.

In terms of category, it's not really a "nose" shot  Wink

It can't be "nose" when the entire aircraft is visible. Check the help section on that, it describes it well. I can't comment on the soft part as I'm sitting in traffic at the moment using my laptop.

I'd say the fuselage was over-exposed more than anything!

Is it you causing the traffic jam?  Smile
It takes a big man to admit they are wrong, and I am not a big man.

Just to reiterate, this would be an INFO rejection in addition to anything else. NOSE is only for use when it's a shot purely of the nose.

Very quickly looked at the shot more carefully. I'm reviewing on my work LCD (which isn't adequate for actual screening)... but note the following:

1. Contrast - too much
2. Angle - ever so slightly an amount CW (maybe 0.25 degrees).

As for soft... I think this might be due to the contrast. Sometimes over contrasting can take out detail. I may or may not have rejected it for soft. As I noted, I am reviewing on my work LCD and I might note soft when at home.

Bugger.... I just realised that it's my work chair. It's off kilter by 0.25 degree CCW :P
