Two Rejections

Fri Apr 28, 2006 7:19 am

Hey guys,

I got these two photos rejected.

http://www.airliners.net/addphotos/r.../20060427_TF-SIF-9522-11042006.jpg

This for info.

http://www.airliners.net/addphotos/r.../20060427_TF-LIF-9519-11042006.jpg

And this also for info, and motiv.

I do not understand why info. Though I didn't add the info as previos photos in the DB, then this is the right way to add.

The coast guard is Landhelgisgæslan. So it should be Landhelgisgaeslan.

It's also called Icelandic Coast Guard, so it should be Landhelgisgaeslan - Icelandic Coast Guard, just like I did put.

In the DB, TF-SIF is Aerospatiale AS-365N Dauphin 2.

I asked Icelandic Coast Guard, and they said it was a Eurocopter AS-365N Dauphin 2. That's why I did put it like this.

I do not understand the motiv rejection of TF-LIF, can anyone tell me what they think?

Thanks!  Smile

Did you tick the "helicopter" box?

Nice shots, specially the first one. The Motiv might be that yellow thing on the right. I'm not sure though.

And what has this to do with the initial question of the thread starter?

Precisely my thought Peter.....heading for screener bashing again !

Drew,
Beneath every photograph on the database there is a correct information button. It works, I've used it a lot (which means that other people, and myself, have got things wrong before)
Try it for yourself
That one is a pretty extreme example, but did it really need bringing to the Forum by hijacking David's thread ?

Hello guys.

Of course I did add helicopter, it was rejected for info, not category.

Can anyone tell me their thought of the info rejections?

Thanks!

David
I can't see a fault with the info for the first one.

The motive on LIF could be several things, the black and yellow pole on the right, the clutter outside the cockpit, or my bet, the reflections of the flash on that central display. The clutter outside is difficult to totally avoid but manually focussing a bit forward of the main control panel might have left it a bit less in focus whilst using the depth of field to cover the control panel.
A very difficult balance to get !
