Are You In This Shot?

Fri Apr 28, 2006 9:30 am

Hi everyone,

For some reason, I've just had the urge for the first time to search for photos taken on that memorable day at MAN nearly 3 years ago, when Old Trafford hosted the Champion's League final.

I'll never forget it. There were aircraft all over the place!

I wondered if anyone could recognise themselves in this pic, taken looking North-East towards one of the mounds. I haven't managed to spot myself, but my dad is the guy in the yellow and green T-shirt to the left of the shot.

Hi Lew,

We didn't bother going around the South side at all that day and just went straight to the viewing park. It was a good job too, because we got there at about 8am and the Police were already making everyone queue from the motorway end to get in. Another 30 mins or so and we wouldn't have made it.

I was stood on that turret most of the day, where my dad is, but I can't see myself. I don't recognise anyone else in the shot.

Regards,

Tim.

Is that nosegear on the grass? Very misleading. Anybody know when is best to go to the viewing park?

Nosegear not on grass. Best time to visit the AVP from a photography point of view is after 2pm if it is sunny, but don't worry, that isn't too likely  Wink
