Photo Data Base

Sun May 28, 2006 6:31 am

Obviously I am mighty impressed with the program AIRLINERS.NET use as a data base for photographs. Having a collection of some 10,000 slides and some 6,000 digital photos, I am very keen to purchase a photo data base "similar" to that AIRLINERS.NET use - ie a system where once "entered" - I can then recall the photos in any order - by registration, airline, airport, date etc etc.

I would welcome your suggestions as to what quality programs are out there.

Have a look at Fotostation. www.fotoware.com

"Sorry but, what?".....

I am looking for software to be able to file some 16,000 photographs, and to be able to retrieve them in the same manner that one can in Airliners.net - ie by registration, aircraft type, airline, airport, date etc etc.

I am looking for suggestions from other users as to what is available to purchase on the market. Maybe there is a mini-version of Airliners.net system? At least I wouldn't have to go thru the "screeners"................

Thanks ChrisH for the suggestion - I will study.

Sorry Saludas,

but my brain just stopped working there for a while I guess. I got it now though, you're looking for a database per say, where you can make different inquiries and then retrieve the inquired photos. Sorry that I can't help you on that one.

Cheers,
Sebastian
