One Or None?

Sun May 28, 2006 6:59 am

Two shots of same helicopter, not sure if showing the sling load adds or detracts. Opinions?

I don't mean to be rude, but I don't think the sling load matters as long as the quality is not there.

Is it unfortunate that I am right, or that the quality is not there?  Smile

No rudeness interpreted. Just vagueness...

Both shots bad quality? Anything in particular about quality like soft, etc?

Thanks

Hi Pete,

I can see some jaggies in both shots, as if you have been too ruthless with the sharpening, although they aren't a million miles off.

The main problem with these two I think is motive. The first seems too high in the frame without anything dangling on the end of that chord.

The second, I think could have lost some of the rotor on the left and centred the chord more, but what looks like some sort of pressure vessel on the end isn't as appealing as a person.

Regards,

Tim.
Obviously missing something....

Thanks Tim.

Yeah, that rusty propane bullet is certainly not an appealing motive.

I'll have a go at the helicopter only shot and see if I can make it jaggy-less.

Thanks again.

Pete
