Photo Sale: Anyone Dealt With These?

Thu Jun 08, 2006 2:30 am

I've got a request but it's a bit unclear. It's a Thai company www.aerospacemag.com

Anyone dealt with them? To be honest I can't tell a word he says LOL.

We are pleased to offer you a magazine of the issue which we use your pictures for free. We look forward to hearing from you

Thanks Mick.
I couldn't work out if they wanted one pic or multiple one's as he doesn't say but if they are charging for the magazine I don't see why they should use free photo's.

To be honest I couldn't understand the e-mail so I declined LOL. It's nice that they choose your pics but at the end of the day if they profit from the magazine then they should pay for the stuff  Smile

I have got the same thing a while ago.
it is also a @gmail address so it might be a bit shonky.
Here is a clip of the email he sent me.
((Could you please to give your address for me?, I'd like to sent a copy for you every time to used your photos.))
I think this mob are more interested in getting your home details then the photos after this email i have also been spamed with university offers that i constantly add to my blocked list
I said in the reply not to use my pics .
Cheers

Got the same request too. They must be doing the rounds of a.net photographers.
