Photo Of Iran AF 747 Crashed In Spain

Fri Jun 23, 2006 6:16 am

I wonder if there is someone outside who has a photo of the Iran Air Force 747-131 reg. 5-283 which crashed after encountering very bad weather over Spain in 1976. The aircraft was a former TWA jet reg. N93111 and one of the very first to carry the double-stripe livery already in 1974. There are few photos around showing it in TWA livery but I´ve been unsuccessful so far to locate a picture of it showing it in IIAF livery.

Not sure if this is the specific bird you are looking for (I think they had a couple, and the photos aren't very good):

Thanks for the links. The aircraft I´m searching for is not among them. It would be interesting though to know which aircraft was tested as an air tanker while still wearing the TWA livery as seen in link no.2.
