Rejected

Sun Jul 16, 2006 2:18 am

I was doing so well with 6 acceptances in a row. Then I got a bad info on this one.
http://www.airliners.net/addphotos/r...ons/big/20060715_southwest_pae.jpg

REG. N247WN
CN 32508
Southwest Airlines
Boeing 737-7H4
Boeing 737-700 (BBJ/C-40 Clipper)
I marked paint as special. Since it has no paint. Maybe this is where I went wrong. Did I tick the wrong box?
I also marked "Dusk" CI 747 that I took a picture of 15 minutes prior was marked dusk and was accepted.

It's Untitled.

Reg: N247WN
CN: 32508/1989 ... don't forget the line number
Untitled (Southwest Airlines)
Boeing 737-7H4
Boeing 737-700 (BBJ/C-40 Clipper)
Category: Hybrid/other_paint ... NOT special. Dusk/dawn is a bordercase here ...

Could need some extra sharpening as far as I can see, I am no screener though.

Hope this helps,
Phil / EDDL

Well I basing it on time before sunset and the fact that a picture I took 15 before was accepted as dusk.

Hybrid/Special paint confused me because it said "Airliners without paint scheme or in an all white paint scheme should also be included here."

Maybe it was just the Untitled Southwest.

Thanks,
Erick

The image is also a little soft, if you do sharpen it more, watch the quality - it's borderline as it is.

Best of luck with it,
Ian.

Will do.  Wink

Maybe some changes to wording in the help files would help out people like me.  Smile

I may rework it and resubmit. I may just through off to my screensaver folder.

Thanks,

Erick

I second that, although in this case... You noted that the aircraft is unpainted, and still chose SPECIAL COLOURFUL PAINT SCHEME (first option) instead of HYBRID/SPECIAL MARKING (second option, for hybrids, special markings, without paint and all-white? I don't get it.

Or did you choose the second option? In that case you were correct.

I should have said Hybrid/Special.
I forgot the other category was called special.  banghead  My mistake. I didn't realize two categories had similar names. I apologize for causing confusion.

That's what I thought Wink Not your fault - the names are confusing, especially as they're called different again (COLOURFUL/OTHER) in other places on the site.
