News Worthy?

Fri Jul 21, 2006 6:35 am

Just interested in the 'offical' Answer to this.

I submitted a priority screening request for a photo of the V-22 at Fairford, I got an answer, nice and quick, saying no. The reason being it wasn't newsworthy. OK, fair enough, except the comment, tthat Farnbrough was, and fairford wasn't??????

I was looking through newly accepted photos yesterday, and was suprised to find that there was photos of several aircraft at Farnbrough, that had been at Fairford. One of them was a Typhoon, nothing special about it, and no real reason why it should, as far as I can see have had priority screening.

I am interested to know, same plane, earlier appearence, why is it newsworthy at one airfield, but not at another???????????

Bjcc,

FAB was given priority screening as you will see from this thread http://www.airliners.net/discussions...on_photography/read.main/242112/6/

I think I am right in saying that the EVENT and not just the aircraft is the newsworthy thing about Farnborough 2006, so the V-22 from Farnborough would naturally be screened sooner.
