Brazilian AF Spotted OTT Sweden.

Mon Jul 24, 2006 5:31 am

I shot one of the (I believe there is two) Brazilian AF 732 contrailing the other day, (17th July, 19:23 CET) and was wondering if anyone knew the I.D and/or routing. The time is for overhead Southern Sweden (Öland).

TIA,
Spencer.

Yes, there are only two... FAB2115 and FAB2116... The first one is in COR, so you must have seen FAB2116...

I shoot 2115 leaving Porto (OPO) to Saint Petersburg, together with 2101 on the 15th of July, carrying President Lula to the G8 Summit. Perhaps you shoot it on the return flight?

Spencer, I logged FAB2115 on SBS1 on the 17th. It overflew Copenhagen with callsign "BRS2115". Other overflights that afternoon (returning from G8) included FAB2101 (A319CJ), 422 (A310), 4 (Fc900), 1556 (A319) and 87-0028 (C-5B). What a nice day for OTT spotting!
