Quality Rejection- Please Help

Thu Jul 27, 2006 7:18 pm

It was rejected over "quality" and "personal" (whatever that means!). I think that it is the best photo I've ever taken and want to share it. Any advice would be great. Thanks in advance.

personal => the screener left a personal message to you ... look at your rejection e-mail and scroll down.

Very nice photo for sure...

Personal means there's a personal message from the screener in your rejection e-mail message. It will tell you what the problem seems to be.
Hope you can fix it.

It's a nice image, two things stick out to me though;
1. Its dark, you need to adjust the levels
2. It has a fair amount of noise

I had a play in Photoshop, adjusting the levels brings out the noise though.

Big version: Width: 1027 Height: 696 File size: 412kb

What format is the original in, RAW or JPEG..?

Maybe able to rescue it.

Ian.

Woody, it is a jpeg. The level of darkness is just the typical North Sea weather (it does not get much better in summer!). I was afraid to artificially brighten it.

Just got my "personal" message- I ticked proirity because it was the last time a Sea Harrier was going to be onboard the carrier, but that was 3 months ago, not sufficient to call it a priority- sorry screener!
