Does This Have Any Chance?

Thu Jul 27, 2006 8:44 pm

Hey Everyone
I'm still trying for my first pic on the DB. Does this photo have a chance?

A bigger photo to look at wouldn't be bad.

Hello Patrick.

This looks like one of those examples where, because the aircraft is not directly perpendicular to your position (i.e. flying towards you rather than directly 'opposite' you), some aspects of the aircraft are sharp whereas others are very slightly soft. If you take a look at the rear half of the fuselage - such as the cabin windows - they do not look totally sharp.

If this is this kind of problem in the original then there may not be much you can do in editing. But if you feel I may be able to help feel free to drop me a line.

All the best and good luck for your first acceptance.

Very well said, Paul!

I agree with Paul - but that's a nice shot nevertheless (IMO).
