"Observation Deck - Concourse D
MSP is one of the last U.S. airports to still boast an observation deck. This deck, on Concourse D, affords great views of runway and taxi operations as well as views of B, C, and D."

Airliner photography is not a crime.

The parking garages also are a good vantage point. The current situation is hobbyists are welcome. You may be asked to show identification. I spent several mornings in July photographingthe Rwy 30L traffic while the summer sun is still high enough. I was never queried. I have been asked to show identification in the past. The term "hassled" is not appropriate to my situation as I have always received courteous treatment.

It is cheaper to park off site and pay the light rail ticket fee to the Lindbergh terminal.
