Is the motiv on the following picture acceptable or not ? And are there any other possible flaws with the picture ?

I hope to hear some good news  Wink

I'm not sure about the motive, whether its acceptable or not (I like it, its a nice formation shot), but it looks unlevel to me. The photo looks like its leaning to the left. I think you need to rotate it clockwise if you can without cropping off the tail of the first aircraft. It also might be a bit dark (having suffered many of these recently myself!).

Hi Chris,
The motive seems ok to me, but

checkmark  The birds are totally in the shadow...

I also have a strange "feeling" about "Center". Just my immediate perception.

Thanks for the feedback so far.

I tried to correct the level issue.

However the photo is still dark. But would this be a problem ? I mean all the picture is in the shadow and everything is clearly visible ?

Hi Chris,

Firstly nice photo, a good capture!

It now appears to be stright in my opinion. Regarding the dark, it was taken in a shadow so it might be ok  Smile

Thanks Cosmic.

I think I'll keep the second one in the queue and cross the fingers  Wink

Here I have another one where I'm quite unsure whether or not the motiv would be acceptable......

Hi Chris.

My comment on the first would be that I would fear for a rejection. The first thing I noticed, even with the second edit, is the effect of the heat haze caused by the jet efflux. I think that is having a detrimental effect on the quality, from an A.net point of view. I also think it is still a bit gloomy.

As regards the second, you might be playing with 'motive' fire there   . I think it carries a significant risk.

All the best.

Paul

I saved a bunch of money on car insurance Big grin just kidding.

It is a nice capture. Just make sure to refer HB-IXH on your upload (which I believe you did). It sure looks dark coz of the shadow area...did you try to play it around?

The second picture might yield a bad motive though...do you have the same with the tail included?

Hey Paul it's been a long time....

Now that you mention it, I agree that the exhaust can be seen as detrimental on the picture. I will try to see if I can find a better picture in the series which I took.

Yes I tried to play around with the levels, but if I play too much the quality is decreasing quite rapidely.... If only the sun would have been at the right place  Wink

Let's hope the screener who will screen the picture will be gentle  Wink

I would go with motive on the 2nd one, sorry.

First one is a no for me too, motive is ok but it's dark and heathazed.

OK thanks for your answer Tim.You don't need to be sorry  Wink

I'll pull them right away and hope to get a better chance to reproduce those motives in the future.

Cheers
