Opinion On This Rejection?

Mon Sep 18, 2006 2:31 am

I was actually pretty surprised to see this one rejected... reasons stated were "quality" and "oversharpened"... If anything, I thought maybe it's a little soft and I see no jaggies, except maybe along the shadow on the engine...

Do you think I should appeal or re-edit and re-upload? And what should I do in a new edit?

Thanks,

Quality I think I agree - jaggies on the engine, the rest of the aircraft looks soft, and the contrast could be improved.

Hi Alex,

I think there are several factors contributing to the quality rejection. The top of the aircraft is too bright and there are jaggies as well. Also the area that is in the shadow has a compressed look from too much sharpening. I don't think a re-edit would help. Sorry, personal collection.

Damn! That border thing I always miss! Well apparently, the screeners did these time too...

Oh well... Thanks for your help, everyone! Let's see what my future crop of pics (I'm going to LAX on tuesday) brings...
