Leave It Or Pull It?

Sat Sep 23, 2006 7:37 pm

This photo is currently in Johan's queue. I usually delete my photos from his queue as soon as they are placed there, but I like the colours on this one:

Should I leave it, or pull it?

Hi Peter,

Its a nice image for what it is but I think there is too much 'people' in this shot. I'm drawn to the F/O and captain rather than the flight deck itself.

Hope this helps

Although I like the shot, the people are too much of the focus for the anet database. The F/O perhaps not so much but the Captain definitely.

Peter,

The UFO in the captain's window bothers me....I would pull it. Nice colors outside.

Hi Peter..

As always is a pleasure to see your cockpit photos.
Rules are changing and we lose the chance to see these pictures I'm afraid..
If it's in the queue there's a chance to have it accepted..

Cheers

Whats the reason why it is forbidden to have people on the photos especially in the cockpit?

Would be a shame to lose this one for a.net.

Too much of the crew can be seen and also the light reflection on the window might kill it. I don´t know if it will make it.
It has already been passed on to Johan, so some screener saw it had a chance. I´d leave it and see what it comes out.

Cheers!

I agree with there being too many people in the picture. In addition, what is that spot in the pilot's window?

Hi guys, thanks for your views. The UFO outside the window is the moon.

Try to imagine cropping the pilots out of the photo. There wouldn't be a lot of cockpit left. I'm not trying to show the crew, I'm trying to show as much cockpit as possible.

If people aren't allowed in cockpit photos anymore, there's no point in taking them. The photos would all look the same.

I'm glad the photo wasn't rejected outright.
