Yowsa! BBC Uses My Pic.

My 15 seconds of fame arrived this afternnon when the BBC London news used my shot to illustrate a story about the ARB report in to an El Al flight that drifted "dangerously low" on approach to Heathrow in January this year.

Here's the shot they used:

Yes, they asked to use it on the web and TV. Unfortunately, they compressed it so much on the web page it looks pretty crap.

Since a couple of you have asked, I'll fess up and say that I didn't ask for any direct payment. However, I did ask them to make a donation to a cancer charity of their choice. I did this for two reasons - firstly, they're a non-profit organisation; secondly, I lost my Mother to cancer earlier this year, so it's a cause dear to my heart.
