Question For The Dutch Spotters

Fri Sep 29, 2006 8:38 pm

Hi all,

I am planning a spotting day at eham one of these day's.Unfortunatly i don't have a telelens at the moment, only the D50 with kitlens 18-55.Are there some places at schiphol were you can take pics with only a 18-55mm?I have heard that there are some places where you can come pretty close to the rwy.Any confirmations?

Your best bet is the taxiway to the Polderbaan... You're pretty close there, just park your car properly or you'll be sent away. For the runways, 18-55 will only work for side-ons of 747 (or bigger).

The panorama terrace might be worth a try and also the terminals self.
