Quality Rejection Specific Reason?

Wed Oct 18, 2006 5:12 am

These 2 photos were rejected for Quality, with no other reason given. What specifically might be wrong with the quality?

heathaze, overexposed, jagged, and whats with the greyish white gradient from the left, that goes into until about 2 inches.

Hello John.

I am afraid there is quite a lot wrong with these photos as regards meeting A.net quality standards.

Both shots are not correctly exposed - the white fuselage looks 'burned out'. Also neither photo is sharp enough and the heat haze is a killer. From those perspectives they are immediate quality rejections.

Cheers.

Main problem looks like too much heat haze!

Really bad exposure on both.

It's probably something to do with the fence I was shooting through.

Thanks all, for the critique. I'm beginning to think that some of my problems are due to processing my photos on a laptop. Screen angle seems to be more critical than with a desktop monitor.

And what about that one? It is say that it is oversharpened. How can fix the problem. I don't own photoshop and honestly, I don't know a lot about photography, but I thought that this picture was quite good. Anyone has an idea about how to make this picture going through A.net screening?
