Motion Blur Rejection - Help Please!

Wed Oct 18, 2006 7:44 am

Hey guys,

I just had the following photo rejected for badblurry:

http://www.airliners.net/addphotos/rejections/big/20061017_emirates_773er_a6ebj_250906_G_edited2.jpg

Handheld 1/20, ISO400.

Is there anything I can do to get it accepted? I was rather disappointed to see it rejected, especially considering some of the suprisingly mediocre quality on more standard, daytime photos that have occasionally been accepted lately. Additionally, night-time panning shots seem to get a bit more leniency, as evidenced by some very nice shots in the database, so...

What can I do? I really like this shot.
Screeners?

Cheers,
Gabriel

I doubt that much can be done - I personally think its a bit too blurry to save myself.

But for what its worth, that is a great shot and I for one would be dammed pleased with it regarless of acceptance or rejection from here.

IMHO this shot won't make it.

It is pretty much blurry IMO, and has been sharpened a lot. If we take a look at JG's shot taken at the same place (AFAIK), it is not as blurry.

No offence here, just my opinion. Of course I'll hear here from somene else: "You're wrong!"

Well, then I'm wrong...
