Should I Give It A Try?

Fri Nov 10, 2006 10:33 am

Just wondering if I should give this one a try. I am not real happy with the way the buildings look, but i like the shilouhete of the plane against the city.

Definitely a good looking shot... But I gotta say first off that I think it'll get a motive rejection. One thing I don't like about it is that the buildings get in the way of the shilouhete, so it doesn't have as much of an impact.

I think making it more of a shilouhete (not sure how though... darker? more contrast?) would help out... but ya, overall it's a nice shot.

I noticed the grain too. Any idea what would have caused it? I noticedalot of my shots yesterday had grain. I was shooting in AV mode at 200 iso and then moved up a little as the sun went down.

That's prolly where your grain's coming from...
