Thanks, Gary! I never really thought of it as a significant milestone because there are many photographers on here who have way more views on average than me. But that's the best I can do since I can't frequent airports that are photo-friendly with interesting visitors or work "inside the fence" where you can get close up to everything.
A lot of the high view photos are just luck - being in the right place at the right time. The tanker photo really boosted my average considerably - but what are the odds that a tanker will refuel a big plane directly over my city at the exact time that I am at the airport observation area with my camera AND
the sky is clear?
The 2006 air show season was fun. I hope for more interesting opportunities in 2007.
