Photoshop CS3

Wed Dec 20, 2006 5:31 pm

Hi Girls and Boys,

seems we don't have to wait too long until we can get our hands on Photoshop CS3.

I'm very curious about the new features of Camera RAW in particular.
I hope also bridge is speeded up a little bit  Smile

Curious how much an upgrade from CS2 will cost, would have to buy a new computer before I could use it to a full extent anyway though  Wink

Good call... My computer has a hard time with CS2 already (768Mb RAM), and don't get me started about Bridge  boggled . Another reason to buy that 24" iMac.  drool

Well I have tried the CS3 Beta version and the Bridge does seem to be a lot more 'friendly' and runs quite quickly. Saying that I do have 2gig of ram. I have not had time to try the RAW features as yet but maybe I will get chance over the xmas period. Still on first glance CS3 looks good with some interesting improvements from CS2

CS3 looks good but i dont think it has quite enough features for me to warrant an upgrade. Aperture and CS2 do me perfectly right now, dont need any more features, Aperture's RAW conversion is plenty good enough for me and is providing some stunning results.

Damn I have to give up on my desktop (512) and use my laptop that has 1G of Ram.

I use 3GB on my IMAC and it's pretty fast, my laptop runs 2GB and is adequate but not too fast.

I would say 2GB is the minimum now.
