Need Help Please With My Canon XT [350]

Wed Dec 20, 2006 10:42 pm

Greetings !

My Canon camera has the following problem: When I try to shoot something, a white small lamp in the front star blinking, then you can hear like a watch for a few seconds [maybe five, but enough to ruin the picture] and after all that the camera shoots.

I really don't know if the camera is broken [no problems with the images] or if I did something wrong with it.

Your help will be greatly appreciated. THANKS !

That sounds like you have selected the timer for shooting? It's like a beep every second, then gets much quicker just before shooting?
Just sit back, relax and have a glass of Merlot...enjoy your life!

Maybe I touch something that I don't have to. But how can I know if I did it?

Anything you say about me as a photographer is right. Maybe I'm too old to learn about new "technology", but I am just asking for a little help from people like you who knows a lot about how to fix my problem.

Thanks a lot !

No, I'm just saying that you can probably/certainly find the answer in the camera manual. In the first chapter there is often a page with a photo of the cam with all it's buttons and LCD-screens explained.

I got it later. And it is like the first commandment of the photographer.
