Fading Light Upload Assistance Request

Mon Dec 25, 2006 3:22 am

I shot this right near sundown, I like the light but had "issues" editing - I'm not sure the quality is there.

Some advice?

Unfortunately I'm not sure the quality will pass. Looks slightly blurry and oversharpened to compensate for it. There's quite a bit of grain on the tail as well as the top of the fuselage.

I do like the light but the quality can't cut it I geuss. Thanks for the second opinion.

Probably flogging a dead horse, but I tried another from earlier in the sequence.

I like the new shot, the only problem is that this is one where centering is questionable. Some people will consider this shot centered because there's equal space between the tail and the lower fuselage, but others, like me, will say it's not centered because the fuselage is much too low in the frame. I'd say crop the top dead space out and it should be fine, but there will be others who disagree.

I also feel the aircraft should put a little bit higher.

Personally I'd say bad centre. The distance between the nose from the edge of the frame and the tail aren't equal. Also looks bad level to me  Confused

Don't take me too seriously as I'm new to the whole world of editing aswell!

Good luck!

Hi

As for the centering I agree it´s a little odd. Crop tighter on the left in this case.
And as for the levelling I don´t see it´s that wrong, because the antennas on the back can work as a good reference and they look pretty vertical to me. However, there´s a feeling that this pic would need some CCW rotation. Try and see how it results.

Cheers!
