Thu Dec 28, 2006 3:49 am

rejected for level:

Nothing in the background is level. Should I level it with the ramp edge to edge?

Thanks!

Hi John

Basically you´ll have to check how the photo level feels. I would apply CW rotation in tiny fractions (0,2 or 0,3 I would say) until you see it´s level. You can take the post below the tail of the aircraft as a reference. Not as a vertical reference, but just to get an idea of the level.

Cheers

0.25° CW rotation should do the trick!
Reference can be taken by the horizon.

IMHO if you are looking for a reference, I would suggest the light poles behind the aircraft and the VORTAC (the NAVAID) that is in the background just infront of the nosewheel. The horizontal protion of the VORTAC should give somewhat of a good reference to level from.

My twocents worth.

Thanks for the direction. I actually tried about .5 cw rotation and I think I like how it looks. Is it too far?

Yeah, much better. I like it. I couldn´t try it out on my PS but I guess this edit will be fine. If it were to be corrected I´d do a 0.1 CCW from the last edit, but I believe it´s OK.  Smile

Cheers!
