Some Motiv Help

Fri Dec 29, 2006 11:14 pm

Hi all!

http://www.airliners.net/addphotos/r...g/20061229_061218-g-euod-jajo2.jpg

I got this shot rejected for "quality motiv dark". I agree with the rejection, but I am curious to know why it got "motiv". Is it because the whole engine is not visible?

Do you think I should leave this shot or try to improve it?

Thanks for your help!

Yep! And just too much grey sky above without recognizable interesting motive.

Yep, leave it for your personal collection.

The angle doesn't do it justice unfortuantly; it was a shame you were not over the wing/engine instead of just infront...

I would not be so sure it was rejected for motive only because of the engine. I think if the main motive of the picture is interesting enough, screeners would accept such a picture even with the engine cut off (there are some pics recently accepted like that).
Just sit back, relax and have a glass of Merlot...enjoy your life!
