Quality Rejection

Mon Jan 01, 2007 3:17 am

The screener added a comment that the sky "is very bad quality"

I don't see it maybe it is the stars in the sky.

There is lots of grain in the sky. It's grain dots and stripes.

I see lots of vertical and horizontal lines in the sky. It doesn't look natural

It's the grain.
And the aircaft is over-exposed.

No offence, but if you don't see it you need a new monitor. The sky is full of grain and the quality is bad. Nice photo though.

I see a lot of grain in the sky also.

Now for those people who see white dots....well that is the constellation Orion. The stars close together just slightly to the left of the top center is the belt of Orion.

That is a pretty stong thing to say. You never know, but Paulinbna might have a better monitor compared to yours. IMHO, one of the main inconsistencies with screening and people reviewing photos is that the monitor of every individual here on A.net is not calibrated to the exact same standards or settings. Because of that, photos will look different on each monitor.

It's surprising to see you even ask that question about that photo. I tend to agree with....
