Centering Advise

This shot was rejected for centered. I tried to center the nose, but now see that there is too much space on top compared to the bottom. If I fix that will it be acceptable or just get a motive rejection?

The slight back lighting is more the worry i think...

I would try to crop closer to the left, thus leaving out as much shadow as possible (from the right side), something along these lines:
