Are These A320 Pics Worth Uploading?

Sun Feb 04, 2007 5:22 pm

Hi all,

Yes another "Are these pics worth uploading?" threads... I reckon it would be a good idea for one single thread for everyone to post and comment on shots they would like to upload. What does everyone else think?

Anyway, what does everyone think of these shots?

I'd say definitely. Also, we have the same setup. I too use a 400D and the EF 75-300. What parameters did you use on these two shots?
Change is: one airline, six continents!

I used a Program AE, so an auto shutter speed of 1/400. f8.0, ISO 100 and evaluative metering with a +1/3 exposure compensation...

Same for both shots...

First of all nice shots!

....I dont think they'll make the db though. The first is overexposed and the second is very soft.

Just my opinion of course  Smile

Do you think this can be fixed in PS?

Nice shots there.

The ANZ shot has some kind of jaggies on the taillogo. Shouldn't be a problem
to get rid of them. Playing a bit with the contrasts would also help. It looks
a bit overexposed on some parts, like already said.

The Jetstar looks quite soft/blurry on the front part of the plane, especially
noticable on the titles.

Thomas

Edit: Just noticed that the winglet on the ANZ 320 seems to be blurry, out of focus.

NZ shot is jagged and quite overexposed . It could be fixed, but it depends on how bright the original picture is.
Jet picture is blurry (out of focus), so that won´t have a chance. It lacks a bit of contrast, too.
Be careful with the colour saturation in both shots. It´s too strong.

Hope it helps.  Smile

Cheers!

Thanks for the feedback guys...

I might give both of these shots a miss. (At least for now) They seem to have too much wrong to be worth the trouble.

Feedback always appreciated.  Smile

Gracias,

Carl
