Lunar Eclipse On March, 3rd

I think this is a challenge: Moon shot with passing plane during the eclipse. Not quite easy because the brightness of the moon will decrease by factor 300,000 (maximum 1-2 million in the centre).
Haven't done my calculations yet, not sure if it can be done.
Second opinion?
