Help With Quality Rejection

Thu Mar 01, 2007 12:37 pm

Hi guys,

I've just had a number of shots rejected for quality amongst other things. Would like to ask what else I could do to improve the quality of the images? Currently, I'm saving the images at quality 11 on PS.

Here are the rejected shots:

Quality & Common - http://www.airliners.net/addphotos/r...0070226_9VSMR_21feb06_DSC_4191.jpg
Quality & Motive - http://www.airliners.net/addphotos/r...0070226_9VSGE_26feb06_DSC_5386.jpg
Quality, Dark & Oversharpened - http://www.airliners.net/addphotos/r.../20070226_4RADE_23feb_DSC_4881.jpg
Quality, Dark, Centering, Oversharpened - http://www.airliners.net/addphotos/r...0070226_CFHRK_21feb06_DSC_4185.jpg

Would also love critique for the shots  Wink

Thanks in advance.

Cheers,

I don't think it's a quality issue here, but mainly a sharpening problem, especially on the cheatlines. The cheatlines have a thin white line around them and/or are jagged. Something you can reduce by using layers with different levels of sharpening and erasing the jaggies on the layers where they appear.

Tsen,
quality is there. Re-edit as Ed suggested and try another upload.

OK will work on them again, perhaps I'm just not used to editing after a long break  Smile
