US Airways A330 In N/C Marked As Priority..

Sun Mar 11, 2007 5:55 am

Screeners, I uploaded a shot last evening after I got home. In fact this one http://www.airliners.net/addphotos/b...g/ready/USAA333N273AYPHL3-9-07.jpg

I marked it as priority on the upload page as I found out from a friend that you no longer have to send that email like before. I also read on the page that lists out reasons of when to use priority and it says that it can be considered priority after the first photo is up as long as it's in the 24 hour time frame. I just wanted to confirm that you guys are showing it as priority in the queue? Just to make sure that the 24 hours passes and then I get some email or so stating I passed that mark. Is it just me or does the priority screening take a little longer than I thought?

Thanks,
Ed

I just had my first experience with priority screening a couple weeks ago with the first WN 733 with winglets. I uploaded two shots and the following morning before they were accepted, so yes it isn't an immediate process. I then uploaded a third shot within the 24 hour time frame since acceptance of the first two, and it sat in "currently in screening" until the normal queue for that upload day caught up about 4-5 days later only to be rejected (for category  Yeah sure). So, I'm not sure how it works once the first shots are accepted in the db.

Already 2shots in DB of it so dont think its priority now and screeners will probably leave it till they reach it in the que and screen it than.

Looks soft to me so if screened priority it'll be rejected for sure.

It was still uploaded in that "24 hour" grace period that is mentioned on the page. If it's untrue, then that statement should be taken off. Or said "Does not apply after two shots have been accepted in the database". Though, atleast its not from SJU...

Unfortunately, I did it at a friends house who just got an LCD  Sad. Anyway I didnt post to get critiqued, which I knew I was gonna get anyway. Let's just leave it to the screeners.

All he is doing is helping you,i agree it looks soft so instead of rushing it to get it priority screened and than get it rejected, wouldnt it be wiser to wait till you get home,do a better edit where you are more comfortable with monitor and upload that and wait the few extra days instead of rushing to try and get it accepted and find out it gets rejected.

I marked it as priority...

Don't think the quality is sufficient, having two already in won't help either, 24 hrs or not.

I could not agree more. Since I got home, I took a look at it and it sure does look like crap. I'll delete it in a little bit.
