Help Request With Editing

Tue Mar 13, 2007 4:45 am

Hi there,

This one was rejected for quality (on my first try - some time ago - it was rejected for soft). I am not complaining, I just want to have some ideas if it can be improved, just for my own files (I understand it is not good enough for here, since it was shot on a very hot and hazy day and it is almost a 50% crop):

Any ideas for improvement are welcome!

Thanks and regards,

Walter

Hy Walter,
it looks a bit blurry/soft...It would be good to know if this condition was there from the beginning...A good editing not always can correct this issue. I lost many uploads for this reason. To me, it looks a bit blurry. A very nice shot but unfortunately not A.net standards....Look here under the voice "blurry"  Sad :

Thanks for the feedback!

Yes, conditions were not ideal... Too heavily cropped and a lot of haze  Sad

best regards,

Walter

Hello Walter.

Given what you have said, it seems you have done a very good job with this photo. It is difficult to say what could be improved without looking at the original - though clearly the key issue is with the sharpening.

If you would like to see what I would come up with in an alternate edit feel free to get in touch - I would be glad to help if I can.

All the best.

Paul
