I can't see how this has been rejected for being dirty- please help... Should I appeal?

Thanks in advance for your comments.

OPSO,
yes : over the main rotor are present many black spots and also over the tail one is present. Check with PS : equalize the image and they'll turn out.

Well,
black spots are very difficult to see just with eyes (only screeners are trained to so so Wink). I always try to use PS in order to make them to turn out....

If, as has been pointed out above, photos have to be converted to see the spots, are the screeners are being too picky? Surely "normal" viewers would be none the wiser??

I screen in a completely dark room, such dust spots are easy to spot.

If we opened each image up in Photoshop I would screen 1/5 the amount I do (about 200 photos a day currently).

I am not in a dark room now, but I could clearly see it without dragging the image into Photoshop.

Opso1,

There is a spot you can see even without PS but I understand why you miss it - it is not easy to see by fleeting glance.

To prevent cases like that I'd recommend you yo use Equalize (Image - Adjustments) option at PS. Do not neglect this option at the future - always good to check your picture. It will help you to clearly see spots like that and at least will give you the good signal if you need to clean your matrix (if the same spot is at the other pics it is looks as your matrix is a bit dirty).

Regards,

Fyodor

Here's the equalized image. Dust spots are far easier to see.
