Is This Ok Quality?

Hello.

I just wondering if these pictures are good, ore what i can do to improve them?

1.
Big version: Width: 1024 Height: 510 File size: 534kb


2.
Big version: Width: 1024 Height: 517 File size: 317kb

Kim,
are these original sizes ?

- The first one suffer from an odd crop and is also soft. A motive rejection then will surely be on the way. Why did you crop the nose that way ?

- Same for the second, even if the motive could be acceptable if the quality and the crop would be good. The aspect ratio for the picture must bemaintaned to the 3:2 standard. Yours is wierd.

No, this is not the orginal size.

I think both will get rejected for quality as there is a lot of grain, they are soft, too much contrast and are dark.

They will get rejected for size. The aspect ratio is wrong.

Now I have done some changes to the picture size. is this better?

What iso speed are you shooting at?

On the first picture it's ISO 800 and the second it's ISO 200.

That's part of the problem. Your iso should right around 100. Those speeds are too high and are causing your grain.

Kim,
I don't think you can do much to imporve the quality there : a re-edit will surely brings the quality up, but not up to A.net standards....Remember always to shoot at the lowest ISO setting possible.
