Your Input Is Appreciated

Tue Apr 03, 2007 3:29 pm

I took this photo the same day I took the photo of the A380 in LA. What do you think I could do to improve this shot? Weather was pretty awful that day, however, I live 3 hours away from LAX and this was my only opportunity to shoot at this airport.

PS: I just read the thread about Alaska Air and Horizon photographs in the db. wow, talk about bad timing. If this post is in any ways violating the new policies feel free to remove.

I'd agree here... Hit it with more USM but make sure to erase the nose jaggies and any others that may appear along the upper forward fuselage as you go.

I think the original photo is slightly blurry, especially the tail. If you gave more USM to conquer the blur, the jag might appear.

I agree with the soft/blurry issue. I´m afraid also that the bright background won´t help at all. The aircraft looks dark in places, and a little flat. If you try to increase the brightness the intense background will play against you.
I´d place the aircraft just a little higher in the frame, maybe.
Hope it helps.  Smile

And one more - the current image has looked grainy. If more USM were given, the grain, especially appearing at the belly, would be getting deteriorated.
