It's a good start, there are just way too many jaggies. To some extent, these can be prevented. I'd be happy to have a go at the original though, if you'd like.

Hey Michael
Not a bad attempt at all.
Firstly i think it may have a chance if you do a couple of things to it.
It looks unlevel to me and the cheatlines have some jaggies.
The quality looks good and me personally i think it has potential.
Nice shot.
Cheers

I've done a quick edit for you, doesn't look too bad on my screen. Is that the highest resolution image you have? 1600x1200 pixels from an S2 looks low to me. Anyway:

Big version: Width: 1024 Height: 767 File size: 671kb

All I've done is level the photo, corrected the contrast slightly and sharpened it a little.

Congrats! That's a beautiful shot -- I love the sun sparkle on the winglet root!

Great feeling isn't it!?

Thanks a lot! Yep, it is a pretty good feeling, and I hope this is just one of many shots to come! One thing though, is there someway I can edit the remark to include that this ismy first pic on A.net?

Yep, the "Correct Info" button.

I was going to do an edit for you, but Darren's looks good. It's hard to tell if it's level or not though - there are only two possible indicators in the shot, the powerpole is in the far distance, and the taxiway lights aren't very trustworthy. I think it'd be OK though.

Do you use Photoshop Elements for editing? I only have Photoshop album so I'll have to get a better photo editing program soon. I just hope it isn't too difficult to use since I'm not to experienced at editing photos.

I have a Canon Powershot S2 IS, I guess its not the prettiest camera, but it gets the job done sort of.

I just use Photoshop Elements 2. I find it easy to use and it does everything I've ever wanted it to do so have never bothered to upgrade to later versions.

Hello everyone,

According to the Exif, Mke717spotter owns a Canon S2 IS (pretty nice compact though)!
Anyway, congratulations for the first photo in the DB and for the awesome photo you got of a great banking!
