Info Reject. Advice Needed.

Tue May 08, 2007 10:47 pm

This shot was rejected for info.

http://www.airliners.net/procphotos/...vlG-MEDKBritishAirwaysTailsLHR.jpg

I used the registration of the 3rd aircraft, G-MEDK in the info I provided when uploading this shot because it is clearly visible and verifiable. The first two aircraft G-MEDM and G-MEDF do not have visible registrations except two letters on their rudder. All other info pertaining to this shot including Airport and date are accurate. Is there a rule on Anet as to which registration we have to use in a shot containing several planes? Your help will also be appreciated If I have omitted any other info.

Thanks

Ken.

I believe it should be the plane closest to you. It could also be verified because it has the last 2 letters on the tail.

The registration of the 3rd aircraft, G-MEDK is the most visable, as is the aircraft as stated in the upload guide....maybe something else was wrong in the info?

Hi Ken

I would have used the registration of the first aircraft, since it can be easily verified, as Ivan said.
I like the pic very much, but the third aircraft being shown much more than the first ones makes it a bit odd, motive-wise speaking.
Good luck with it.  Smile

Cheers!

That would have been a "category" rejection.

YES!

It is a no win situation. Tail category fits this more than Airliner category. This reject for info came from the second or third screener. A shot of mine that was uploaded after this one on a different day was rejected while this one was still in screening. This shot was eventually rejected for info about 12 hours later.
