Any Information On This?

Sat May 12, 2007 12:33 am

DHC Chipmunk photographed at Berenty airstrip, southern Madagascar a couple of weeks ago. There is another fuselage in the hangar, which can just be seen and its wings are stacked out of frame. This one looks as though it will never fly again but who knows...? The registration is French so I assume it dates from the colonial days. Lemurs use the rafters of the hangar as a climbing frame.

Can anyone add any information?

Thanks,

Chris

Less than ten seconds to find it in Google.

WG332 Chipmunk T10 F-OAOM Stored Berenty, Madagascar.
d/d 11/07/1951, sold 29/10/1951, to France as F-OAOM, stored Madagascar.

Thanks EK20. I did look on Google, as it happens, but didn;t come up with anything - perhaps I mis-typed the details.

Try to search always for the registration and the manufacturer/model  checkmark  e.g. F-OAOM Chipmunk
