am not sure if it will support Canon

PS: I use a 300D and I have checked with an Exif-reader
Quoting INNflight (Reply 5):
With the 300D, you can choose to either reset the "counter" (=file names) every time you use a new, empty memory card, or continuously number the files.
E.g., CRW_8644 is the 8644th actuation, however the 300D counter automatically starts at zero after CRW_9999 I think.

How mand actuations do Canon state you should get out of a 30D or 300D?
Quoting Monteycarlos (Reply 10):
I guess I will. I guess this is not something covered under an extended warranty either?
Quoting Monteycarlos (Reply 12):
Ah good. Thats a relief. Although by then I'll probably have a 5D.
Quoting KMB (Reply 13):
With Canon cameras our biggest problem is DUST on the sensor, especially if you have the Dyson pump 100-400 lens.
Quoting JRowson (Reply 15):
My 20D came back from service last year with the total number of actuations written down, so I guess that service engineers can get access to this info. I wonder if the end user can access it somehow?
